Welcome to Polk County and thank you for your interest in one of the best recreational spots in the beautiful woods of East Texas.  Our Chamber of Commerce strives to make Polk County a better place to live, play and conduct business.  We are constantly planning for the future so that our area will remain a great place to raise a family, spend some leisurely time or just enjoy your retirement years. There are more than 20 different communities in our county, including the incorporated cities of Livingston, Corrigan, Onalaska, Goodrich and Seven Oaks.  Numerous small communities are scattered throughout the county.
